We were excited to be there. After each kid went me and Alycia woould sit and judge them like American Idol. Alycia would be Paula, "I loved it, absoluetly, hiccup, you were amazing I wish I could take you home with me."I would be the more honest Simon, "Pathetic, who told you you were ready? I cant believe I just wasted 14 minutes of my frickin life that I cant get back."
It helped to calm Alycia's nerves.
Gabe was really on form and Owned it. Whatever they asked him to do, He was focused and nailed it.
Alycia pretty much looked like she was going to throw up and pee the whole time. She does not handle these things well.
I just am waiting for the day he can do a roundhouse kink like Chuck Norris.
This is Gabe realizing it was probably a bad idea to have his mom come.Gabe did really well on his forms start to finish, really solid.
Gabe didn't even have to do his bow staff forms, but they told him too and he did it perfectly.
To cap it all off, he earned his red belt. Alycia was about to cry, and vomit. She couldn't decide.

Bruce Lee has nothing to worry about (besides...he's dead). Gabe is the man! Got his red belt! Broke a board and everything! I can't wait until he puts his foot through the wall at home. That is going to be fun to watch!
And no, they don't go to school to learn to judge...they come by it naturally! Passed down from a long line of judges.
