The Blue Angels

The Blue Angels performed at the Air Show. They were great of course. There isn't really much to say about them. There skill speaks for itself.This is Fat Albert. It is the support plane for the Blue Angels. Carries all of their extra equipment and such.It is a Hercules class or whatever. It is a propeller plane, but it has JATO or Jet Assisted Take Off, for situation in which there is a short runway it starts going with the propeller and then BAM, sets off these rockets and it just leapsinto the air.

Golden Knights and Virtual Army Experience

These guys were really cool, it was great seeing them screaming towards the ground at 120 MPH
They would stagger themselves at different heights once their chutes opened so they could land in succession

These two had a baton and they split this far apart and then flew back together to hand it off.

Inside this tent is two humvees and an actual Black Hawk Helicopter each mounted with M4 Sub machine guns in fron of 180 degree viewing screens. Pretty much the sweetest video game I have ever played.

Defenders of Freedom Air Show 2009

Ashley and I went to the Air Show this weekend. She had a pretty good time. She didn't appreciate all the walking around, but it was still a pretty great time.
